For most of my life I have worked in foodservice management. However in 2020 I decided to focus on my goals of impacting the community by pursuing dietetics.
In 2024 I graduated from Tarrant County College’s NDTR program with honors, and enrolled in Tarleton State University’s Registered Dietitian program. My expected graduation date is May 2026, and I will pursue a Masters in Nutrition Science program following this.
I am a recipient of several merit scholarships, including the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ National WIC Scholars Scholarship in 2023.
My internship rotations include: WIC, Tarrant Area Food Bank, Texas Health Resources Southwest and Fort Worth, and Cantex Skilled Nursing. At each rotation I worked with skilled Dietitians to complete competencies as regulated by ACEND.
My leadership roles include three years serving the Arlington Classics Academy’s Parent Teacher Organization as a board executive with a focus on hospitality, as well as serving the Student Dietetic Organization as Vice President for four semesters. Notable achievements are organizing a college-wide hybrid 5k fundraiser.
I completed a mentorship under Chelsea Crawford, the esteemed dietitian behind Fuel For Life RD. We focused on pediatric nutrition education, and approaching a healthy diet sensory processing disorders.
